Billing rates and attendance codes is what we use to determine how much should be charged for certain lesson types and what they should be charged for. Billing rates can be changed within the settings of a school by admins.

Billing Rates

Billing rates define the cost of lessons based on different criteria such as duration, type (individual or group), and department. These rates can be customised to fit the specific needs of each department and can be applied to various activities. Admins can set and update these rates to ensure accurate billing for all lessons. You can add rates to any activity by applying them within that activities profile view.

Attendance Codes

Attendance codes are used to track student attendance and apply the appropriate billing rules. You simply set the default action if an absence is recorded - whether to charge the parent, student or for no charge.

You can also set custom codes for teachers to use:

If you are setting up a new code then once you’ve added it into Practice Pal you will need to ask your MIS administrator(s) to also add it to your MIS System.
